Plans: Voices.com plans to expand the business through three initiatives: mobile, global and social. As a result, they anticipate creating up to 35 new full-time positions.

C100 Connection: As one of the 24 companies who participated in the last 48hrs in the Valley, CEO David Ciccarelli really took advantage of his time here: "Participating in 48 Hours was an eye-opener for me.  It provided me with an opportunity to see how business is really done in Silicon Valley." This taste of the Valley encouraged David to apply to the Canadian Technology Accelerator, a great program put on by the Consulate General of Canada - San Francisco/Silicon Valley. Now after being accepted, David is currently working out of the CTA in RocketSpace for four months, fully immersing himself in this tech center. Check out his TechVibes post on the program and current companies: Canadian Technology Accelerator in Silicon Valley Helps Entrepreneurs Go Global.

Beyond just funding and the CTA, Voices.com has been highlighted in the news quite a bit lately. During 48hrs, our friends at VC-TV had the chance to chat with David about Voices.com and his experience. They put together a series of three videos covering the event, and you can watch David's interview here. Also, on January 18th, Voices.com released their Android app enhancing their mobile experience, and they were in the San Francisco Chronicle with this big news.

Although Voices.com has bootstrapped since 2005, David knew this year was the time to really expand: "At 48 Hours, you really hit the ground running. The introductions made during 48 Hours allowed me to get valuable feedback from mentors and ultimately present Voices.com to potential investors." We're really excited for what's next for Voices.com -  congrats to the whole Voices.com team!
